Financial Systems AnalystThe following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As a Financial Systems Analyst you will:Be responsible for financial and technical analysis, conducting special projects, and working with automated systems in the office.Work on a variety of tasks as a team member and performs a wide range of complex analytical activities using automated programs.Perform studies and reviews the potential impact of proposed financing and regulation changes on Fiscal Service and FRB systems and operations.Develop and maintain relationships with audit, compliance, and other staff at Fiscal Service, Treasury, FRS, and market participants. Providing training to internal staff and customers.Work closely with other staff members in a team environment to accomplish debt financing initiatives and support functions.Develop and maintain procedures and checklists and makes recommendations to management for improvements to ensure they are easy to follow in an operational environment that demands 100% accuracy.
