Job Summary
Turning Leaf is an industry leading Cannabis, Wellness, Vapor, and Cigar retail store with 10 Midwest locations throughout WI, MN, and ND. At Turning Leaf, we care about the needs of our community, educating, and encouraging a healthier lifestyle by providing quality services and diverse products for everyone along their lifestyle journey. We are currently seeking full time employment for an excited and motivated assistant store manager to join our growing team. This position is responsible for training, coaching, and managing a passionate team of sales people.

Requirements:

• Able to read, write, and perform basic math
• Operate a cash register, manage financial transactions, and properly balance the drawer
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Kneel, stoop, bend over, pick up, and carry boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sign for and receive age-restricted inventory that requires 21+ signature
• 35-40 hours per week
• Reliable transportation

Responsibilities:

• Help oversee daily store operations, with front-of-house and sales floor focus
• Ensure exceptional customer service standards are consistently met.
• Consult with customers, perform transactions following Turning Leaf Proven Process Steps,
• Hold accountability with team members for Sales, promos, other company initiatives
• Hold accountability with team to maintain a clean, organized, and safe shopping environment
• Monitor store appearance, merchandising standards, and product presentation.
• Manage communication of the store email, ensure prompt replies and follow-up to correspondence
• Place orders for products to meet demand needs
• Ensure accurate receiving, stocking, and inventory control processes; performing weekly negative inventory checks and spot-check counts
• Hold accountability with team members for completion of Inventory Tracker and Task Tracker
• Train in new team members and assist with delivering ongoing training,
• Organize, complete, and submit store Monthly Packet contents,
• Perform bank drops, verifying deposits and uploading deposit scans into Google Drive monthly
• Engage in marketing efforts in the community
• Participation in management and state level meetings
• Keep store DoorDash inventory up to date
• Other duties as assigned.
