This full-time, full school year opportunity supports a moderate to severe caseload, offering both direct and consultative services as part of a dedicated onsite team. This itinerant position provides valuable variety, as you’ll serve multiple schools and collaborate closely with educators and families.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Valid California OT licensure (or eligibility)
• School-based OT experience, particularly supporting K-12 students
• Familiarity with moderate to severe caseloads and adapting interventions accordingly
• Comprehensive understanding of IEP development, participation, and goal monitoring
• Demonstrated ability to perform assessments and deliver direct as well as consultative therapy services
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
• Previous experience in California schools is preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Travel between school sites in an itinerant capacity to provide occupational therapy
• Conduct student assessments to identify needs and document findings
• Deliver individualized and group therapy to students with moderate to severe needs
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
• Consult with teachers, staff, and families to implement effective interventions
• Maintain clear records and meet required documentation and compliance standards
• Serve as a collaborative and reliable resource onsite throughout the school year
