They will support a culture of data driven decision making, provide actionable insights and recommendations as well as identify key opportunities and efficiencies within the sports business, across areas such as segmentation, VIP, bonus, pricing, margin and sport/league/team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated analytical thinker who thrives in collaborative environments to inform key business decisions. They will also need to efficiently manage multiple projects across several different key business priorities and will need to be comfortable interfacing with key internal and external business leaders. This is a cross-functional role and will require partnership with product, trading, operations, and finance teams to generate insights that directly shape how BetMGM prices, structures, and delivers its sports betting offering.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for leading the development and delivery of actionable insights and analysis in response to key business questions across bonus, VIP, trading, promotions, etc.Efficiently manage and deliver multiple short- and long-term projects at paceLead the analytics strategy within the Sports Analytics team in collaboration with the Sports SLTPresent analytical findings and strategic recommendations clearly to senior leadership, translating quantitative outputs into actionable business narrativesBuild and maintain a range of complex datasets, reports and dashboardsLead analytical work to measure, evaluate and optimize bonus and promotional spendDesign and evaluate controlled experiments (A/B and multivariate tests) to drive incremental business valueBuild agents and automations to automate manual tasks and processesMentor junior analysts and contribute to a rigorous, high-performance analytics cultureQualifications4+ years commercial experience in analytics, business intelligence or data scienceAdvanced use and understanding of SQL and large complex datasetsAdvanced use of Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPointProficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python, R)Demonstrated ability to build clear, stakeholder-ready dashboards and visualisations using tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BIStrong analytical communication skills, with the ability to present complex findings to non-technical and senior audiencesExperience leading analytical strategies across the commercial businessExperience designing and analysing A/B or multivariate tests to evaluate commercial interventionsExperience working with large and sometimes incomplete and complex data setsExpert understanding of sports and the sports betting industry in United StatesPrior experience in a regulated sports betting or iGaming environment is preferredBusiness standard use of the English languageThe annual salary range for this position is $92,000 to $120,750. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for participation in a performance-based bonus plan.Applicants must possess legal authorization to work for our company in the U.S. without the need for immigration sponsorship.
