We are seeking an experienced **Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)** for a 13-week travel assignment at **Memorial Hospital of Carbondale**.

**Requirements:**
* Active Illinois Respiratory Therapist License
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
* Current BLS Certification
* Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
* Minimum 3 years of Respiratory Therapy experience
* NRP certification required for Memorial Hospital of Carbondale
* EPIC EMR experience preferred

**Assignment Details:**
* 13-week contract
* Night shift
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Holiday coverage not required
* EPIC EMR
* No 1099 contracts accepted

**Responsibilities:**
* Provide respiratory care, assessments, and therapeutic interventions for patients with cardiopulmonary conditions
* Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, ventilator management, and other physician-ordered treatments
* Monitor patient progress, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
* Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, disease management, and discharge instructions
* Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and communicate effectively with physicians and nursing staff
* Support high-quality patient care while serving as a clinical resource and role model for staff and students
