About the Position

Job Title: Hospice Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Hospice Duration: 6 months Shift: Monday - Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum 2 years Description: You will be a vital part of providing compassionate care, strength, and courage to patients and families. This role allows you to connect with the reasons you became a nurse and find joy in the care you provide. You will help patients identify their own personal goals of care. You will also support caregivers in gaining confidence to care for their family members. Strong clinical skills are essential. You will be a generalist on all diseases and a specialist in symptom management. Excellence in assessment and critical thinking is required. You will manage an assigned caseload of patients. You will lead the interdisciplinary team caring for those patients. Care is provided wherever patients call home, including private homes, nursing homes, group homes, or assisted living facilities. This position offers a supportive environment that fosters personalized care. Occasional on-call and weekend backup may be needed.
