PartnerPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Partner to join our law firm and lead practice growth, client service, and litigation strategy. The Partner will be responsible for managing a busy caseload, developing new client relationships, mentoring junior attorneys, and contributing to firm operations and business development. Ideal candidates have significant experience in civil litigation and general liability matters and are licensed attorneys with a track record of successful case outcomes and client management.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee a docket of civil litigation and general liability cases from intake through resolution, including trial and appellate work as needed.Provide high-quality legal advice and representation to clients, developing case strategy and supervising legal research, pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.Develop and maintain client relationships, drive business development initiatives, and participate in client pitches and networking to grow the firms practice.Supervise, mentor, and train associates, paralegals, and support staff; review work product and provide constructive feedback to develop team capabilities.Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic planning, budgeting, and practice management; contribute to policy and procedure development to improve firm operations.Manage billing, case budgeting, and profitability; ensure timely and accurate timekeeping, client invoicing, and collections.Represent the firm in court, mediation, arbitration, and administrative proceedings; maintain professionalism and ethical standards in all interactions.Stay current on relevant law, precedent, and industry developments; present training and CLE sessions internally or externally as appropriate.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction(s).Minimum of 8+ years of litigation experience, with significant experience in civil litigation and general liability matters.Proven track record of managing complex cases, achieving successful outcomes, and handling trials or significant motion practice.Strong business development skills with demonstrated success in client acquisition, retention, and relationship management.Leadership and people-management experience, including supervising associates and contributing to firm management.Excellent oral and written advocacy, negotiation, and legal research skills.High ethical standards, professionalism, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment.Willingness to participate in firm administration duties, billing oversight, and strategic planning.BenefitsQuarterly bonuses based on your billable hoursAnnual performance reviewsRemote or hybrid work environmentFlexible work hoursMedical InsuranceOptional Flexible Spending Account401k after one calendar year of employmentPaid time off (PTO) to support your overall well-being
