Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, which is fully equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and equipment. Our clinic's team-oriented atmosphere encourages collaboration and integration across various healthcare disciplines to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The position entails an onsite work setting with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations and evaluations of patients, developing tailored treatment plans that address individual functional limitations and disabilities.

• Adhere to applicable state practice acts while overseeing the care of other healthcare professionals as needed.

• Perform comprehensive evaluation services, including detailed review of medical histories, conducting specialized assessments, and producing documented recommendations for each patient.

• Implement treatment protocols based on evidence, evolving healthcare standards, and patient-specific presentations, adapting them as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, recognizing any significant changes in a patient's condition, and appropriately modifying the treatment plans.

• Manage discharge planning processes and follow-up care, accurately documenting and billing all therapeutic activities and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Complete daily treatments while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and maximizing the productivity of the rehabilitation department.

• Engage in continuous professional development by attending team meetings, conferences, and in-services to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

• Contribute to the removal of barriers to patient access and be involved in initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and measurement data utilization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Mobility Works, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is critical in aiding these patients to regain mobility, improve strength, and enhance their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited physical therapy program.

• A valid state physical therapy license is required.

• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling quick rapport-building with patients and team members.

• Current CPR certification is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in a rehabilitation setting. Experience with digital health solutions or similar technology is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
