If you're a seasoned technical contributor with a history of solving problems, increasing stability, and improving performance, then Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) is looking for you!About the Role As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of performance, stability, and continuous delivery in support of our customers and employees. You will contribute to existing Kubernetes-based infrastructure platforms, work with application teams to monitor and improve performance, and assist with AWS cost management.Responsibilities include:Take ownership of the DevOps-related stack including Kubernetes, GitHub actions, AWS, and Terraform.Share technical knowledge, best practices, and deployment best practices with internal stakeholders and team membersResearch, implement, document, and audit custom metrics, deployments solutions, and AWS architecture decisions to meet our customers' specific needs.Configure and deploy systems that help our customers' ship code with lower impactPerform tech support for onsite and remote users – core hours 9-5, M-F (after-hours maintenance and support as needed)Communicate concerns and metrics to senior management and present on technical topics to a broad audienceAbout You You're a good fit for the role of Senior DevOps Engineer if you have:A strong Linux background including knowledge of containerization technologies and productsAutomation and CI/CD experience including tools such as terraform, ansible, and GitHub ActionsEnterprise experience with Docker and KubernetesEnterprise experience with AWS cloud infrastructureDevelopment experience with languages such as Python or BashPrior experience with real-time data pipelinesPrior experience with SNS/SQS, Python data frameworks, Redis, MySQL, or DramatiqExtensive experience troubleshooting complex technical issues including authentication services, certificates, and network connectivityA strong security background and familiarity with US Government security and compliance benchmarks (CIS, STIG).US Citizenship and ability/desire to be processed for a security clearanceThe ability to deliver solutions in a fast-paced environmentA bachelor's degree in computer-related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of five years IT-related experienceSecurity-related certifications or trainingAbility to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical employees
