Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery in Portland, Oregon. This travel temporary assignment begins 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks, with a weekly pay of $2,385–$2,474 per week and guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12-hour days in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients using the nursing process.
- Monitor, assess, document, and respond to patient conditions; administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans; coordinate with obstetric, neonatal, anesthesia, and support teams.
- Supervise and direct activities of nursing staff at multiple levels; delegate duties as appropriate.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare treatment team; provide education on pregnancy, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and safe transitions.

Requirements
- Current RN license in the state of practice (Oregon)
- AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS required; AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS required
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in labor and delivery or a closely related field
- Ability to work in a hospital acute care setting and maintain a 3x12-hour shift schedule
