CNA I/II | Certified Nursing Assistant - LTACH Per Diem

Join a compassionate healthcare team providing essential patient care in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting within the Southeastern United States region. This per diem role involves delivering basic nursing support, observing and reporting changes in patient conditions, and maintaining a clean and well-stocked patient unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide fundamental patient care with attention to safety and comfort.
• Observe and communicate any abnormal occurrences or changes in patient status promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock supplies in the patient care area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the healthcare team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to follow supervision from a multidisciplinary team and adapt to varying work schedules.
• Basic understanding of age-specific patient care considerations.
• Proficiency with basic computer skills.
• Physical ability to turn and lift patients, with frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting required.
• Visual and auditory acuity necessary for patient observation.
• Willingness to work variable shifts in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Licenses and Certifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification registered with the appropriate state nursing assistant registry is required.
