Job Description Overview We are looking for an Emergency Veterinarian Lead to help build and nurture a world class practice in a brand-new hospital in West Springfield, MA. The role involves leading the ER team, collaborating with other departments, and overseeing day‑to‑day operations. Responsibilities The Emergency Veterinarian Lead is responsible for day‑to‑day workflow including: ER doctor scheduling, recruiting, hiring, onboarding and training; Facilitating regular department meetings; Providing mentorship and oversight to doctors and support staff; Working with the Medical Director and Hospital Director to maintain a positive attitude, positive work habits and strong collaborative relationships within the department and with external services. Qualifications Experienced leader in Emergency Veterinary Medicine. Passionate about building a high quality practice.
