Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 15-week travel assignment in a fast-paced, high-volume ER department. The RN will deliver quality patient care in a dynamic environment, ensuring safety and effective treatment for diverse cases.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care to patients in a 28-bed department, including trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac units.
• Assess patient conditions, prioritize interventions, and document clinical findings accurately.
• Administer treatments, medications, and procedures in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with all safety standards, certifications, and licensure requirements.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current Hawaii RN license before start date.
• Possess Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
• Demonstrate experience working in a high-volume emergency room setting.
• Strongly preferred: Procedural Sedation, TMCC, and EMPC certifications.
• Be capable of adapting quickly in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
