Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement individualized treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
- Document patient progress and responses to treatment accurately
- Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and wellness strategies
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment
Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maryland or compact privilege
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Prior experience in an acute care or rehab setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Proficient in maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Capable of standing for long periods and assisting with patient transfers
- Understanding of rehabilitation principles and evidence-based practice
