Special Education Teacher

This 36-week contract places you in Eagle, Colorado, where you will support preschool children with disabilities as an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher. You will develop and implement IEPs, collaborate with staff, and provide direct instruction and behavioral support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs) for preschool children with disabilities.

• Collaborate with classroom staff to support inclusive learning environments.

• Conduct assessments and progress monitoring for children receiving services.

• Provide direct instruction and behavioral support as needed.

• Maintain detailed documentation and ensure compliance with district and state regulations.

Qualifications:

• ECSE certification (Early Childhood Special Education) or equivalent.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in special education, including work with preschool children ages 3-5 and caseloads up to 30 students.

• Ability to work in-person, days shift, and perform physical tasks required for working with young children.

• Strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills.

• Successful completion of background checks.
