Now Hiring: Electronics Technicians & Field Machinists – Nuclear Power Plant Projects

Looking for your next high-paying outage opportunity? We are hiring 20 Electronics Technicians and 10 Field Machinists for multiple nuclear power plant projects with 60+ hours per week , $150/day per diem , and paid travel .

Project Locations & Start Dates

Plant Vogtle – Waynesboro, GA

• Outage/Site Implementation: September 21 – October 15

Salem Nuclear Power Plant – Salem, NJ

• Training/Pre-Outage: August 2 – September 4
• Outage/Site Implementation: October 16 – November 15

Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station – Salem, NJ

• Training/Pre-Outage: August 2 – September 4
• Outage/Site Implementation: October 11 – October 25

Schedule: 60+ Hours Per Week

Electronics Technician Pay

• Level 1 (Junior/Apprentice): $28-$31/hr + $150/day Per Diem
• Level 2 (Journeyman/Controls Tech): $32-$40/hr + $150/day Per Diem
• Level 3 (Senior I&C): $42-$45/hr + $150/day Per Diem

Field Machinist Pay

• Level 1 (Apprentice): $28-$34/hr + $150/day Per Diem
• Level 2 (Journeyman): $35-$39/hr + $150/day Per Diem
• Level 3 (Senior/Master): $40-$44/hr + $150/day Per Diem

Travel to and from assignments is fully covered or reimbursed.

Electronics Technician Responsibilities

• Perform compliance checks, calibration, and repair of EDM equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic systems at the component level
• Diagnose and repair PCBs
• Use multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and other diagnostic equipment
• Read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot power supplies, control systems, instrumentation, and automated equipment
• Support overhaul, calibration, and maintenance of welding power supplies and electro-mechanical systems

Field Machinist Responsibilities

• Precision machining, repair, and refurbishment of nuclear plant equipment
• Operate portable and stationary machine tools
• Perform drilling, boring, milling, flange facing, alignment, and machining work
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Conduct dimensional inspections

Qualifications

• Recent nuclear experience is preferred but not required
• Candidates with strong industrial, machining, electronics, instrumentation, controls, or maintenance backgrounds are encouraged to apply
• Must be able to pass all required pre-employment screening and site access requirements

Travel Benefits

We cover travel to and from training and outage assignments:

• Personal Vehicle: Mileage reimbursed at current GSA rate (up to 500 miles), tolls reimbursed, plus 8 hours straight-time pay and one day of per diem for travel.
• Rental Car: Gas and tolls reimbursed, weekly fuel reimbursement while on assignment, plus travel pay and per diem.
• Air Travel: Airfare provided, rental car covered, weekly fuel reimbursement, plus travel pay and per diem.
