Associate Director/Senior Associate Director, Medical & Scientific Affairs (Medical Writer)

The Associate Director/Senior Associate Director will work under the direction of senior Medical & Scientific Affairs staff to consistently develop highly credible clinical and scientific content for a full range of promotional medical education programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support the development of highly credible scientific content for relevant therapeutic categories across a wide range of promotional medical education programs
- Work closely with all levels of staff in Medical & Scientific Affairs to ensure the scientific quality and message integrity of all content.
- Be prepared to participate in discussions with internal team members regarding content development and strategic planning.
- Demonstrate comfort articulating clinical and therapeutic information.
- Work with project management and internal teams to ensure work is developed and delivered on time
- Actively support new business opportunities by researching scientific literature
Requirements:
- Advanced degree in the life sciences (PhD, PharmD, or MD)
- 0-1 years of experience, preferably in the medical education/pharmaceutical advertising field or similar
- Ability to quickly come up to speed on scientific and clinical information
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (ie, Word, PowerPoint)
- Good interpersonal communication skills
- Strategic thinker; approaches tasks with a critical and creative eye
