Direct Support Professional - Part-time

As a Direct Support Professional (DSP ), you’ll play a critical role in carrying outthat mission by helping people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) complete everyday living tasks and achieve their goals. Part-Time role available - Schedule is Saturday 8am to Monday 8am with sleepover at the group home. You are required to stay on site for the duration of your shift & clock out to sleep each night for 8hrs. In the event you had to get up in the night to assist a resident you would be compensated for your time. Guests & pets are not allowed. Overtime is occasionally available on site, but regularly available at regional group homes for those looking for extra hours. This would be working at our Mental Health Group Home located in Albemarle. Location: Albemarle Compensation: $15.00 Your Role in Our Mission You will provide care in the home of the individual and the community they live in Assist with everyday tasks such as housekeeping, meal preparation, cooking, and cleaning; personal care such as bathing and dressing; and employment support You may transport the client to appointments and run errands Help plan and organize their schedule Daily documentation and reporting in the electronic health system of record Why Join Us?
