Lathe/Mill (Setup) Operator

Full Time Positions For Lathe/Mill Setup Operators
Functions:
- Oversee and coordinate machining operations and activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
- Load and unload equipment and materials.
- Be able to setup/operate CNC FANUC control.
- Precise setting of all tool offsets.
- Must have mathematical skills for calculating set-up requirements, including basic math, geometry and trigonometry.
- Set up and operate machines with little supervision.
- Able to read and understand Engineering drawings/blueprints.
- Able to plan machining process, study work orders, drawings, materials, specifications, and machine capabilities.
- Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) and read drawings.
- Must be familiar with G-Code machine language.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on machines.
Qualifications:
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in plant operations or other related fields.
- Familiarity with plant tools and equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to oversee physical workload.
- 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC Horizontal setup.
- Knowledge of FANUC controls.
- Functional and Technical skills.
- Read and edit programs.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in CNC mill machining
