Driver's Assistant

Position Overview Our client is seeking a dependable Driver's Assistant to join its team in Danbury, CT. This full-time, on-site position supports daily delivery operations by assisting with loading, transporting, and delivering products while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Responsibilities Assist with loading, unloading, and delivering products safely and efficiently. Verify delivery orders for accuracy before and after deliveries. Provide courteous and professional customer service during deliveries. Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicles and equipment. Assist with warehouse operations and inventory handling as needed. Follow delivery schedules, company procedures, and safety guidelines. Support daily operational needs and collaborate with team members. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work throughout the day. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail. Compensation & Benefits $17–$20 per hour, based on experience.
