Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional results while fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the company's financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing.Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by entering data into the accounting system and reconciling transactions.Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures, including preparing journal entries and reconciling balance sheet accounts.Support the preparation of financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes, including gathering data and preparing reports for management review.Perform various ad hoc financial analysis and reporting tasks as needed.Collaborate with other members of the finance team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.5-6 years of relevant work experience in accountingExperience with entering invoices into a data management systemExperience with journal entriesProficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Experience with accounting software: QuickBooks, XeroExcellent attention to detail, organizational skills and ability to maintain confidentialityExperience with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processesAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team.Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.BenefitsHealth, dental, and vision insurance options.Retirement savings plan with company match.Paid time off and holidays.Opportunities for professional development and advancement within the company.
