Regional Billing Manager

We are looking for a Regional Billing Manager. The Regional Billing Manager will be responsible for the continuous improvement in the billing process as well as performing various billing functions for branches. The position is also responsible for oversight of the performance of the regional billers, and preform associated managerial duties as needed. Responsibilities

• Partner with Regional Controller to manage, track, and improve key performance indicators within the region such as DSO and unbilled.
• Perform weekly, monthly, annual and ad hoc reporting to Region Controller.
• Implements new policies and processes and ensures those policies and processes are communicated to team and the organization as applicable.
• Coordinate directly with billing shareholders on specific billing issues including, but not limited to billing arrangements and guidelines.
• Work with the collections team to investigate AR concerns.
• Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to the billing team, including performance management and training.
• Lead a team of 20-25 billing specialists located within the region.
• Review contract terms and conditions for accuracy and to ensure that they align with company standards.
• Review new job set ups for accuracy.
• Review existing job activity and monitor when jobs are complete.
• Develop internal audit program to ensure full contract entitlements are recognized.
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Region Controller.
• Travel as needed to support the need of the Areas.
• Oversee direct reports as they related to billing, payroll, accounts receivable, and payables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 3-5 years of billing and collection experience.
• Previous managerial experience.
• Previous experience in the construction industry desirable.
• Advanced experience using Microsoft Suite-Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Ability to create excellent working relationships with senior management
• Ability to effectively work within a matrix organization
• Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and confidence
• Ability to read, interpret and accurately take-off construction drawings.
• Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• It is desirable for the incumbent to have attained additional business-related education
