Clinical Implementation Project Manager

Overview Partners Cooperative, Inc. is a 501(e) Not-for-Profit support services company serving 501(c)(3) Not-for-Profit hospitals, governmental authority hospitals, and university-based academic health systems. With a contract portfolio of over 800 contracts and more than 200 projects annually, Partners Cooperative's mission is to provide cost-saving initiatives and operational efficiencies through data-driven insights. The Clinical Implementation Project Manager is responsible for leading implementation and go-live initiatives for existing Vizient members, ensuring successful deployment of contracted solutions, programs, and value initiatives. This role serves as the primary liaison between members, vendors, Vizient, and internal stakeholders, coordinating activities throughout the implementation lifecycle to drive adoption, operational readiness, contract compliance, and measurable member value. The Clinical Implementation Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects, facilitate stakeholder engagement, provide clinical and operational expertise, monitor implementation progress, and support members in realizing the full value of their Vizient and Partners Cooperative participation. Key Responsibilities Implementation & Go-Live Management Lead implementation and go-live activities for existing Vizient members, serving as the primary liaison between members, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful deployment of contracted solutions and value initiatives. Develop, manage, and execute implementation plans, project timelines, milestones, and deliverables. Coordinate implementation activities across internal departments, Vizient teams, member organizations, and contracted vendors. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring timely communication, issue resolution, and stakeholder alignment. Facilitate implementation meetings, status updates, and go-live readiness reviews. Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate implementation risks. Ensure successful adoption of new contracts, programs, and services through effective stakeholder engagement and change management. Clinical & Operational Consultation Provide clinical and operational expertise to clinical and non-clinical stakeholders regarding contract activation, compliance requirements, conversion opportunities, and value realization initiatives, ensuring successful implementation, adoption, and optimization of contracted solutions. Partner with clinical, supply chain, operational, and executive leaders to support product conversions, standardization efforts, and contract compliance initiatives. Assist members in identifying and addressing operational, clinical, and stakeholder barriers that may impact implementation success. Support change management activities related to product conversions, implementation initiatives, and contract adoption. Serve as a trusted advisor to member organizations by translating clinical, operational, and contract-related information into actionable implementation strategies. Member Engagement & Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with member executives, supply chain leaders, finance teams, operational leaders, clinicians, and other key stakeholders. Conduct regular meetings with member organizations to review implementation progress, address challenges, and support adoption efforts. Provide education and guidance regarding contract activation, implementation best practices, reporting requirements, and value realization opportunities. Foster strong member engagement and ensure a positive member experience throughout the implementation process. Collaborate with members to identify opportunities for contract optimization, compliance improvement, and increased utilization of contracted solutions. Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination Collaborate with Vizient, contracted vendors, and internal departments to ensure members are accurately connected to applicable contracts, programs, and services. Coordinate communication among all stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are achieved. Track implementation dependencies and elevate issues as needed to maintain project timelines. Support contract and program activation efforts to ensure seamless member adoption. Facilitate alignment among stakeholders to drive implementation success and achieve desired outcomes. Analytics, Reporting & Performance Monitoring Monitor implementation metrics, project milestones, adoption benchmarks, and contract utilization performance to ensure successful member outcomes. Partner with analytics, onboarding, and member engagement teams to oversee reporting related to savings opportunities, compliance performance, conversion progress, and utilization trends. Review and validate implementation-related data, reports, and dashboards to ensure accuracy and alignment with project objectives. Translate data and implementation outcomes into actionable insights and recommendations for members, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Prepare and deliver implementation status updates, project reviews, and performance presentations to member leadership, stakeholders, and executive teams. Identify implementation barriers, adoption challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement, working collaboratively with internal teams to drive resolution and optimize results. Implementation Optimization & Adoption Drive successful adoption of contracted solutions by identifying and addressing operational, clinical, and stakeholder barriers throughout the implementation lifecycle. Support contract compliance, product conversion, and value realization initiatives through effective stakeholder engagement and change management. Identify opportunities to improve contract utilization, standardization efforts, and member outcomes through ongoing performance monitoring and collaboration. Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required. Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in healthcare project management, implementation, clinical consulting, supply chain, member engagement, healthcare operations, or related fields. Experience working with hospitals, health systems, physician groups, or healthcare organizations. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and organizational objectives. Demonstrated ability to present clinical, operational, and financial information to executive, clinical, and non‑clinical stakeholders. Strong verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional environment. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred but not required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred but not required. Experience with Vizient contracts, GPO operations, healthcare supply chain, value analysis, or healthcare contracting. Experience supporting product conversions, standardization initiatives, and contract compliance programs. Knowledge of healthcare financial performance, cost‑savings initiatives, and analytics reporting.
