CT Technologist - Per Diem

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shifts include 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, and 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM.

Job Description

The CT Technologist works in a collaborative environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team, responsible for providing quality imaging services. This role supports the Radiologist and assists in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The CT Technologist is responsible for the processing and transmission of images to PACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality CT images in a timely manner.
• Assist Radiologists during imaging procedures.
• Process and transmit images to PACS.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have an up-to-date CT license and relevant experience.
• One year of acute clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Graduate of a program accredited by JRCERT.
• Current CT ARRT Certification required effective 07/01/2015.
• Maintain BCLS (AHA) certification upon hire.
• Proficient in computer skills and knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
