Nurse Practitioner-Outpatient

AllHealth Network invites qualified professionals to join our team in Littleton and Castle Rock, CO. As a full‑time Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), you will provide comprehensive psychiatric care to clients with severe and persistently ill conditions, working closely with an interdisciplinary team. Job Purpose Provide evaluation, assessment, and follow‑up appointments for clients with mental health and/or substance abuse diagnoses at our Sycamore outpatient facility. Deliver direct psychopharmacological services and consult with clinical staff. Goals and Objectives Provide competent medical care to clients and complete associated documentation as required Ensure psychiatric services and follow‑ups are completed within established timelines Duties and Responsibilities Provide psychiatric assessment/evaluation of children, youth and/or adults with mental illness referred to AllHealth Network outpatient services Provide consultation to staff regarding medical problems and medications of clients Evaluate and/or refer client’s medical conditions; coordinate with primary care physicians for continuity of care Evaluate and monitor client’s medications, including side effects or adverse reactions Educate clients comprehensively when initiating or monitoring medication; assess comprehension and provide written materials when possible Provide consultation, education and coordination of services to community agencies and citizens as requested Provide coverage when other psychiatrists are absent and/or on-call psychiatric services after hours, as needed Complete all required paperwork and documentation legibly, by established time frames, and to accepted standards of practice Participate as an active member of the inter‑disciplinary treatment team Attend and participate in client staffing and treatment review meetings as requested Meet established productivity standards for the position Follow AllHealth Network policies and procedures Complete all required trainings listed in Relias Learning within required timelines Perform other duties as required within the scope of the position and the experience, education and ability of the employee Key Technical Skills and Knowledge Education Master's Degree (MSN/MS) Licensed in the State of Colorado as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (APN) Experience At least one year post‑master's direct clinical experience with adult psychiatric clients in a medical/behavioral health setting Experience working with psychiatric medications with both acute and chronically mentally ill clients Skills/Knowledge Demonstrated interpersonal and clinical leadership skills Decision‑making ability, organizational skills and effective communication skills Medical expertise; ability to establish effective consulting relationships and function collaboratively in multiple systems Ability to collaborate with professionals within the medical field, mental health providers and external agencies Qualifications Education: Masters of Nursing (preferred) Licenses & Certifications: APN (required) Compensation Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience, education, and alignment with AllHealth Network mission and values.
