Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient care and discharge planning for assigned cases within the case management unit
- Conduct utilization review using InterQual and Milliman guidelines
- Apply knowledge of CMS, DRG, ICD-10, and CPT coding/billing to support care planning and documentation
- Maintain regulatory compliance (HIPAA, OSHA) and support quality/measurement initiatives (HEDIS, NCQA, The Joint Commission/core measures)
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and document care activities in the charting system
- May float to like units within the scope of practice as directed by facility needs

Requirements
- Current RN license in New Mexico or eligible via NM/Compact; must be obtained prior to start
- BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of case management experience
- Charting experience with any system
- Ability to work in a hospital setting; day shift; travel assignment; ability to float to similar units as needed
