Job Description:

As a Warehouse Prep Associate at Takeuchi, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, quality, and safety of our machinery throughout the shipping process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading machines from containers, flatbeds, and trailers with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Preparing machines according to customer specifications.
• Reviewing orders prior to shipping to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Inspecting machines to ensure they meet our high standards before shipping to customers.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:

• Ability to perform tasks with the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
• Flexibility to work in various functions within the general warehouse.
• Proficiency in maintaining minimum performance standards while multitasking.
• Commitment to working safely and following all safety rules and procedures.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Warehouse Management systems.
• Strong team player with proven ability to multitask.
• Proficient reading skills and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months of distribution center experience preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.

Physical Demands:

This position requires moderate to heavy physical effort, including:

• Sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders.
• Grasping, fine and coarse manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level.
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Safely operating assigned machinery with no accommodations.
