- Drive alignment between legacy and acquired development processes, tools and documentation.
- Develop and maintain integrated program plans covering hardware development, verification and validation, and regulatory deliverables.
- Manage program schedules, budgets, resources, risks and interdependencies across multiple cross-functional teams.
- Provide clear, data-driven program status updates, risks and decision points to R&D leadership and acquisition stakeholders.
- Ensure proper integration of hardware requirements, risk management, verification, validation and cybersecurity documentation.
- Support design reviews, phase-gate reviews and regulatory submissions related to integrated hardware products.
- Drive issue resolution and decision-making across organizational boundaries.
- Track project progress, manage budgets and provide transparent communication to cross-functional stakeholders, business sponsors and senior management.
- Conduct retrospectives and implement process improvement initiatives to drive future success.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years' experience participating in and leading product development teams.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional hardware development programs.
- Strong understanding of regulated hardware development lifecycles and quality systems.
- Proven ability to manage complex, ambiguous programs with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions or technology integrations.
- Experience in the development of active implantable systems.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Master's degree in engineering, management or a related field.
The anticipated compensation listed above and the value of core and optional employee benefits offered by Boston Scientific (BSC) will vary based on actual location of the position and other pertinent factors considered in determining actual compensation for the role.
