Job Description Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 (LISW/LPCC) – Job ID 20024977 (260003B2) Organization Rehabilitation & Correction – Correctional Reception Center Unposting Date May 28, 2026, 3:59:00 AM Work Location Correction Reception Center, 11271 State Route 762, Orient, 43146 Primary Location United States of America – OHIO – Pickaway County – Orient Compensation $67,800 Schedule Full‑time Union 1199 Primary Job Skill Behavioral Health Technical Skills Basic Documentation, Programming, Behavioral Health, Professional Responsibilities Complete detailed screens, mental health evaluations, and crisis services including suicide watch assessments within scope of practice. Provide clinical direction to lower level workers. Serve as treatment team coordinator. Conduct advanced practice individual and group clinical interventions as prescribed on the individual mental health treatment plan and directed by supervisor. Provide clinical case‑management services to an assigned caseload, including monitoring offender compliance with the mental health treatment plan. Complete psychosocial needs and treatment assessments as part of interdisciplinary treatment planning. Consult with other institution staff regarding the mental health caseload inmate’s institutional adjustment and service needs. Initiate and maintain contact with families and community agencies. Gather and seek information relative to patient care and treatment. Make appropriate community and re‑entry referrals per mental health treatment team. Write reports or documentation to include inmate contacts, clinical case‑management progress notes, discharge plans, and miscellaneous forms per policy and protocol. Attend meetings with supervision. Attend in‑service training sessions and workshops for professional development. Participate in peer review as assigned. Complete transfer and discharge summaries. Benefits Medical coverage. Qualifications Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) by the Ohio Counselor, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy Board. Testing will also be performed for the presence of marijuana. Pre‑Employment Background Investigation The final applicant selected for the position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of the applicant’s prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.
