Travel Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D)

Epic Travel Staffing is
hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery - Birth Center

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW, No call

Length: 16 weeks

Holiday Expectations: one major, one minor

Requirements:

• WA License
• Minimum 1 year experience
• Strong L&D experience
• Experience receiving and being comfortable with couplet care once mom and baby are stable
• Pyxis experience
• Skills required: need to do cervical exams, antepartum and labor, amnio infusion, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, Pitocin
• BLS
• NRP
• Fetal monitoring (AWHONN or Relia’s module)

Other Details:

• EMR: EPIC Stork, GE Centricity
• Will only float to areas where they are competent
• First-time traveler accepted
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Hypertension, magnesium administration, medication management for substance abuse, a high number of low-risk patients needing intermittent monitoring, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IV skillet
• Patient Ratios: To follow AWHONN and NANN guidelines: 1:1 for active labor, 1:2 for non-active laboring
