Operating Room Registered Nurse

Step into a dynamic nursing environment supporting a Level I Trauma surgical team. We're seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a background in the Operating Room environment who thrive in high-acuity settings and are ready to deliver expert care to diverse patient populations. This role is ideal for adaptable, multi-skilled nurses who excel across multiple specialties, including orthopedic, neuro, and vascular cases.

Schedule / Hours:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Shift hours are 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
• Includes call responsibilities
• Past self-scheduling structure

Qualifications:

• Current RN license required
• Minimum of two years of recent OR nursing experience, preferably in a Level I Trauma setting
• Proficiency with a variety of surgical specialties: orthopedic, neurosurgery, vascular, and more
• Strong assessment skills and the ability to respond quickly in urgent situations
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities within a multidisciplinary team
• BLS and ACLS certifications; CNOR preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care during surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating suite
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative staff to ensure successful patient outcomes
• Anticipate and meet needs during complex procedures, adapting to rapidly changing priorities
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection prevention, and regulatory standards
• Document perioperative activities and patient responses accurately

$2,193 - $2,312/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
