Behavior Therapists are direct representatives and reflect the values and mission of Ed Support Services. The Behavior Therapist reports to the Program Supervisor. Essential Duties and Skills of the Behavior Therapist include: Embrace and exemplify Ed Support Services' mission and vision Participate in New Hire Training Solid understanding of ABA principles Participate in ongoing Professional Development opportunities, as offered Follow Guidelines for Responsible Conduct as outlined by the Behavior Analysis Certification Board Implement behavior programs for clients with fidelity Collect data daily for each program Graph data daily Communicate any questions regarding programs to Supervisor immediately Communicate any parent information regarding scheduling conflicts and/or changes in client schedule adherence to Supervisor Participate in ongoing supervision Participate in direct observations by Supervisor Maintain professionalism at all times, including professional behavior and attire Communicate with parents when cancellations are necessary by following the company's cancellation policy Participate in team meetings, as scheduled Meet all deadlines with regards to schedules and timesheets Respond to all company communication within 1 business day Qualifications YOU: Have a genuine desire to learn, teach, collaborate, and above all have a good time! Want to be a part of a team with a common goal to make a difference Are flexible to the pace and demands of a growing business Are excited to be in a position that provides direct feedback and strives for the highest quality of services Value and nurture an environment that exudes professionalism and a team attitude Educational Qualifications Needed Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or are currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in one of the following programs: psychology, education, social work, behavioral science, human development or related field. Work Experience Requirement 6 months experience working with children, special education a plus. Spanish speaking a plus but not mandatory. Physical Demands Sitting, kneeling, squatting, lifting up to 50 lbs, running, twisting and turning, reaching above shoulders; frequent physical transitions. 10-20 hours per week positions available. In-Home Sessions Shifts are between the hours of 2pm-7:30pm and days can vary. Additional Information Compensation: Starting Pay range is determined on experience and educational qualifications Competitive benefits available for Full Time employees (30 Hours or More) Mileage reimbursement and travel time reimbursed (must be traveling directly from one client assignment to the next). To learn more about Ed Support Services please visit: Training Policy In order to provide the best quality of service to our clients, every Behavioral Therapist is required to attend mandatory training at the beginning of employment. This mandatory training must be completed before a Behavioral Therapist is assigned to any case. This training will be provided by the Director of Training and Development.
