Maintenance Manager

Our client is currently seeking a Maintenance Manager for their CPG Manufacturing Facility near Galesburgh IL. The Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance department of 15-16 Direct Reports to ensure optimal performance of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure. This role drives preventive maintenance programs, minimizes downtime, supports plant projects, and ensures compliance with safety & food quality standards. The position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a hands-on approach to supporting plant operations

- Provide hands-on leadership, working alongside technicians when needed
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) program (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual)
- Ensure proper documentation and audit readiness through CMMS systems
- Oversee maintenance, repair, and continuous operation of all plant equipment and facility systems
- Ensure all equipment meets operational, safety, and food safety standards
- Manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work orders, scheduling, and asset tracking
- Coordinate maintenance inventory to ensure availability of critical spare parts and materials
- Maintain accurate reporting of maintenance activities, including daily summaries
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability
- Support and lead plant improvement and capital projects
- Bachelors Degree -or- Trade School Certifications Preferred
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance management / supervision within manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and conveyance systems
- Experience with Preventive Maintenance Programs and CMMS systems
