About the Position

Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist Profession: Surgical Services Specialty: Certified OR Tech / Surgical Tech (CST) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours (06:45 - 07:15) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Required Certifications: BLS, NBSTSA Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience - Familiarity with charting systems, preferred experience with Cerner Description: The position requires a Certified Surgical Technologist. Daily responsibilities involve assisting in surgical procedures. Call duty is one night per week and one weekend per month. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates must be located 75+ miles from the facility. Scrubs will be provided. The unit supports a daily average surgical case volume of 40+. Candidates will need experience with a variety of surgical procedures. Additional skills in aseptic techniques and care of surgical instruments are necessary. Candidates will float within the facility as needed. This position offers the opportunity to work in multiple specialties, including General, Orthopedic, Neuro, Gynecological, Urology, and Vascular surgeries. COVID-19 vaccination is required, with medical or religious exemptions accepted. Candidates must meet all specified qualifications and be prepared to work in a fast-paced environment.
