Join our team at Canterbury Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Respiratory Therapist. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. Full-time and part-time opportunities available. Same Day Pay! Pay Rate: $40-$50 an hour (all inclusive). Available Shifts: 12-hour shifts. 7 AM-7 PM. 7 PM-7 AM. No Frills Program for Full-Time Employees: If you opt for no benefits (no vacation, sick time, personal days, or holidays), you'll earn an additional $3/hour on top of your base pay.

Responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapist:

• Perform chest examinations on a range of patients
• Consult with doctors and other healthcare staff to develop and modify patient treatment plans
• Provide detailed therapy, requiring significant independent judgment
• Perform exams and diagnostic tests measuring lung capacity and blood acidity/alkalinity
• Treat patients using oxygen or oxygen mixtures, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
• Connect the patient who can't breathe to a ventilator
• Educate patients and families on how to use equipment and medications
• Regularly monitor both patients and equipment
• 3 years' experience

Qualifications for Respiratory Therapist:

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care
• Current state licensure
• Experience with Trach Care and Ventilator Management in a skilled nursing home, LTACH, or hospital setting
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact well with residents and families
