The Manager Pastoral Services provides compassionate spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, staff, and the broader community. Here is What You Will Be Doing:

• Upholds hospital and department guest-relations policies when engaging with patients, visitors, physicians, employees, and external partners, including Donor Alliance and funeral homes.
• Leads the Pastoral Care Department, overseeing chaplain mentorship, supervision, training, and scheduling.
• Develops and manages the departmental budget, ensuring financial stewardship within established guidelines.
• Provides leadership and education to chaplains on pastoral care for patients, families, and staff, with an emphasis on self-care and professional growth.
• Promotes the spiritual and psychological well-being of individual chaplains and the pastoral care team.
• Demonstrates expertise in providing age-appropriate spiritual support for diverse patient populations.
• Serves as the designated co-leader of the CRMC Ethics Committee, overseeing its development and facilitation. Responsibilities include curating meeting agendas, fostering education among members, and ensuring a diverse representation of employees, physicians, and community leaders.
• Provides operational leadership and ensures adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Maintains excellence in leadership competencies and service standards, reinforcing these principles among direct reports.
• Oversees support groups, including grief and suicide-related programs, either as a facilitator or by delegating chaplain oversight.

Here is What You Need:

• Master of Divinity degree or its equivalent
• Ordained, endorsed by their denomination, and board-certified by a professional certifying agency
• Three (3) or more years of parish ministry
• Three (3) or more years of experience in a healthcare setting
• Four (4) units of CPE - Clinical Pastoral Education
