Director Of OperationsA leading aerospace and defense manufacturer is seeking a Director of Operations to lead its largest manufacturing site and headquarters operation in Simsbury, Connecticut. This role will oversee a complex manufacturing environment, drive operational excellence initiatives, develop high-performing teams, and partner closely with executive leadership to achieve strategic business objectives.This position offers significant visibility across the organization and is viewed as a key leadership role with long-term growth potential.Responsibilities include leading all manufacturing operations across the Simsbury facility, driving performance in safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost, developing and executing Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives, leading, coaching, and developing an experienced management team, driving accountability through KPIs and operational metrics, partnering with executive leadership on strategic planning and business initiatives, building organizational capability through succession planning and leadership development, improving manufacturing efficiency, capacity utilization, and operational performance, and fostering a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and excellence.Compensation is targeted around $225,000 to $299,000, with flexibility for the right candidate. Annual incentive target of approximately 20-25%. Long-term incentive flexibility. Full relocation assistance available if needed. Additional incentives may be considered based on long-term performance and organizational impact.
