Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Radiology / Cardiology - Cath Lab Tech

Job Details:

• 36 guaranteed hours for 12-hour shifts or 40 hours for 8/10-hour shifts
• Call requirements mandatory
• Weekend coverage can be discussed with manager
• Float within scope to meet facility needs and to sister facilities within 20 miles
• 18 months of specialty experience required, 2 years preferred
• Must be nicotine free - smoke free facility with no exceptions
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS and BLS, Certified or Registered Cardiovascular Tech (RCVT) preferred, RCIS also preferred
• Scrub color: Ceil blue
• Charting system: EPIC
• Free parking in any unrestricted space
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time sensitive modules must be prioritized first once confirmed (6-15 hours, non-billable)
• Negative 10 Panel + Nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start
• Skills required: Diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac implant closure devices, stent placement, IABP placement/removal, sterile technique, equipment setup
• Must be able to work with middle adult and older adult patient populations
• Two references from direct supervisor/manager required
• Compliance documents due Monday prior to start date

This is a 180-bed short-term acute care hospital that maintains high standards for patient care and safety. The facility operates as a smoke-free environment and utilizes EPIC charting systems. The hospital provides comprehensive cardiac services including diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures, with state-of-the-art equipment and specialized cardiac care units.
