The Dallas County R-1 School District is accepting applications for a Special Education Paraprofessional for the 2026-2027 school year. Future openings may occur, due to increase in student needs and/or change in staffing. The paraprofessional will assist Special Education Teachers to support the diverse needs of their students. Openings may occur for all age groups and areas of need.
Qualified candidates need to have a minimum of sixty (60) hours of college credit, substitute certification or have passed the Para pro assessment. Energetic applicants with a desire to help support our Special Education Department should apply at Salary and benefits are based upon board approved schedule.
