This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient dietary department.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with meal service and tray setupWash dishes and operate dishwashing equipmentPrepare snacks and nourishmentsClean kitchen, work surfaces, and equipmentSweep and mop floors to maintain sanitation standardsMonitor and record dishwasher temperatures and sanitation levelsProperly store food and suppliesRemove trash and maintain a clean environmentSupport cooks and dietary supervisor as neededFollow all food safety and infection control guidelinesQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMust obtain and maintain a Food Handler's CertificatePrevious food service or healthcare experience preferredAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsCompassion for an underserved populationWe are an equal opportunity employer.
