With competitive pay and benefits, stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, National Beef Leathers could become your next career move! 3 day Work Week with a 4 week work day rotation Competitive Wages and Benefits: Competitive wages Multiple Employee Bonus Programs Family-friendly Benefits Safe and stable work Responsibilities Quality Assurance Auditor responsibilities include but are not limited to: Input quality attributes and monitor product quality throughout the production process Communicate quality concerns, trends, and issues with Production personnel and leadership Collect, evaluate, and document daily samples Promote and support a safe work environment, including compliance with all PPE requirements Provide departmental coverage as needed Participate in cross-training and become proficient in all Quality Assurance functions Maintain accurate quality records and documentation Knowledgeable in Hide Brand Sortation Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by management This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Qualifications Qualified Candidates for the Night Shift Quality Auditor position should have the following skills: Must be able to read and write in English Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of the manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery. This is normally acquired through two to five years of manufacturing experience in a tannery or a previous Quality Assurance position Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers Availability to work all shifts, flexible hours, flexible days/evenings to include weekends and holidays Conceptual/Analytical thinking Attention to detail Problem solving Excellent communication skills - verbal and written Self-motivated and self-starter Maintain confidentiality Basic computer skills Understanding of various quality aspects Able to lift hides up to 100# Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
