Job Title: Creo Designer

Responsibilities:

\n

\n
• Develop concept models and detailed mechanical designs using Creo Part, Assembly, and Surfacing.
\n
• Design and modify plastic, sheet metal, and casting components for automotive applications.
\n
• Apply GD&T, DFX, and DFA principles to support manufacturability and product quality.
\n
• Support automotive product development from concept through design release and production.
\n
• Prepare engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and design documentation.
\n
• Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to resolve design and production issues.
\n
• Support engineering changes, prototyping, and relevant validation and approval activities.
\n

\n

Must-Have:

\n

\n
• Strong hands-on experience with PTC Creo, including Part Modeling, Assembly, and Surfacing.
\n
• Automotive mechanical design experience, preferably involving automotive components and product development cycles.
\n
• Experience designing plastic, sheet metal, and casting components.
\n
• Working knowledge of GD&T, DFX, and DFA.
\n
• Practical experience developing concept models and creating engineering designs using Creo.
\n

\n

Preferred / Nice-To-Have:

\n

\n
• Ability to independently handle conceptual design assignments.
\n
• Knowledge of automotive component design and development processes, including drafting, dimensioning, tolerancing, and prototyping.
\n
• Experience with Engineering Change Notices (ECN), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), and engineering design releases.
\n
• Familiarity with sheet metal press tools, fixture and gauge design, reverse engineering, tolerance stack-up, and Value Analysis/Value Engineering (VAVE).
\n
• Exposure to DFMEA, DVP&R, and collaboration with manufacturing, quality, and suppliers.
\n

• Candidates must demonstrate genuine, hands-on Creo expertise and relevant automotive design experience.
