Accounting Specialist

SNI has partnered with a local company looking for an Accounting Specialist to work on site in Northern Denver.
This is a full time, direct hire position. This position offers a base salary of $65,000. About the Role Position SummaryThe Accounting Assistant plays a key role in supporting daily operations within the accounting function by providing administrative and clerical assistance. This position is well-suited for an early-career professional looking to build a foundation in accounting, with exposure to essential areas such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliations. A strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn financial processes are critical for success in this role. Core Responsibilities
- Accurately enter and maintain financial records, ensuring all documentation is organized and up to date
- Support accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and responding to inquiries
- Assist with bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Provide administrative support to the accounting team, including audit preparation, reporting, and maintaining spreadsheets and records
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred
- Foundational knowledge of basic accounting concepts and financial recordkeeping practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook; familiarity with accounting software is a plus
- Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Effective communication skills along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
