Location: Blacksburg, VA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 19:00 - 07:00, 3 shifts per week with every other weekend required.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic Respiratory Therapy team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in a progressive healthcare setting. This role includes participating in advanced therapeutic procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care to patients.
• Monitor and evaluate patients' respiratory status.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Utilize advanced technologies and equipment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
