Pipe LayerArcher Western Construction, LLC, a member of The Walsh Group is currently seeking a Pipe Layer for the Water Mountain West Region/Mesquite Rd & 29th Pl. Improvements Project, in Gilbert, AZ.The Pipe Layer will perform pipe-laying tasks involving physical labor (laying, joining, wrapping, sealing) on construction jobsites including commercial, industrial, or heavy civil projects; may operate hand and/or power tools as needed; may prepare site and assist with other duties as assigned.Our employees are built to succeed. We are dedicated to career advancement by rewarding hard work and initiative.Join the team that is building the infrastructure where you work and live!ResponsibilitiesLays, joins, aligns, wraps, and seals pipe sections, clay, concrete, and other type of pipe for water/gas main, sanitary sewer, telephone/electrical conduitsAbility to work with crew members and operate a variety of hand and power tools including drills, hammers, and other tools as directed by managementAbility to perform tasks including physical labor as instructed by supervisorQualifications1 Years Verifiable Experience PreferredRequires ability to climb and maintain balance on scaffold/ladderMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditionsRequires the ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properlyPossess a strong work ethic and desire to learnRequires good manual dexterity; may be standing, bending, kneeling or sitting for long periodsMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screeningThe Walsh Group, Ltd.
