Accounting Associate

Job Summary Our client, a manufacturing industry leader specializing in containerboard and corrugated packaging, is seeking a dedicated Accounting Associate to join their finance department supporting the accounting and payroll functions. Position Details Location: Burley, ID Pay Range: $25 an hour Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Job Type: Temporary – Full Time Responsibilities Maintain accurate and complete accounting records by posting entries to the general ledger. Verify, balance, and reconcile general ledger accounts regularly. Process accounts payable transactions, including preparing batch payments. Audit and collect accounts receivable transactions, making necessary adjustments. Support weekly payroll processing and assist in month-end financial closings. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. At least 1 year of experience in a business office or accounting role. Experience with accounting software handling accounts payable and general ledger. Solid understanding of accounting procedures and computer systems such as Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
