Director of Accounting

Harmer is partnering with an established, growing hospitality organization near Irvine, CA to identify a Director of Accounting. This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced accounting leader seeking a highly visible role with executive leadership and the ability to make a meaningful impact across the organization. What You'll Own Lead all corporate accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Banking, and Financial Reporting. Drive the month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting. Partner closely with executive leadership, including the CFO and Senior Accounting leadership, on strategic initiatives and special projects. Oversee treasury activities, payroll tax compliance, and corporate disbursements. Develop, mentor, and lead a high-performing accounting team while strengthening processes and internal controls. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA required 8+ years of progressive accounting leadership experience Strong background in financial reporting, audits, internal controls, and compliance Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP or other large ERP systems Only qualified candidates will be contacted for this position.
