Join Our Dynamic OBGYN Team! Job Description:
- Location: 8635 W. 3rd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90048
- Float Location: Los Feliz OBGYN
- Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (06:00 - 18:00)
- Experience Required:
- 2 years in an outpatient clinic setting
- 1 year in an OBGYN clinic
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Certifications:
- Medical Assistant Diploma from a DAPIP accredited program
- BLS Certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Special Skills:
- Proficiency with blood/lab draws and venipuncture
- Must have OBGYN clinic experience
- Must have at least 3/4 experience in venipuncture Key Responsibilities:
- Rooming patients and collecting blood and specimens
- Taking vital signs and documenting patient histories
- Assisting with OBGYN procedures such as Pap smears and IUD insertions/removals
- Conducting follow-up phone calls and addressing patient inquiries
- Ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards
- Participating in daily huddles and staff meetings
- Maintaining quality assurance measures for the clinic
- Monitoring workflow for improvement opportunities Additional Information:
- Weekend work is not required
- Floating between locations may be necessary
- No scheduling requests can be accommodated
