Our team is made up of clinicians, nurses, physicians, and support staff who work collaboratively to diagnose, treat, and support individuals living with mental illness. What You'll Do as a Dual Diagnosis Disorder Specialist As a key member of our Program for Assertive Community Treatment (PACT) team, you will provide essential services to clients experiencing co‑occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting comprehensive substance use assessments, education, and counseling Delivering crisis intervention and symptom evaluation Supporting clients in developing recovery skills and working toward a substance‑free lifestyle Participating in assertive community outreach to engage individuals in need Assisting with referrals to rehabilitation and treatment programs Collaborating with the team during treatment planning and case reviews Sharing responsibility for caseload management Using Motivational Interviewing (MI) to effectively engage and support clients Your work will help clients build confidence, access essential services, and move toward long‑term recovery. Requirements include: Bachelor's degree in a mental health‑related field from an accredited institution LCADC or CADC credentials Two years of post‑certification experience working with chronically mentally ill and/or MICA populations Ability to work a flexible 40‑hour schedule , including some weekends, holidays, and on‑call rotations Valid New Jersey driver's license with a clean five‑year driving record meeting agency and insurance standards Spanish‑speaking ability preferred We'd Love to Meet You If this opportunity aligns with your skills and career goals, we encourage you to apply.
