Key Responsibilities
- Perform age-appropriate dental cleanings, polishing, sealants, and fluoride treatments
- Educate children and parents on oral hygiene, nutrition, and preventive care habits
- Help create a calm, positive, and engaging experience for pediatric patients
- Take digital radiographs
- Monitor growth, development, and oral health conditions in pediatric patients
- Partner closely with doctors and team members to support comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulations and standards
- Most hygienists average $60-$70 per hour
